IPT-HOPE is an international organization for physiotherapists interested in promoting health, advocacy, research, and education for people living with HIV/AIDS, oncology, hospice and palliative care. In 2007 at the World Physiotherapy Congress in Vancouver, Canada, this group began as an informal collaboration and then progressed to a recognized World Physiotherapy Network in 2011. In 2019 IPT-HOPE was officially recognized as a Subgroup within World Physiotherapy.
