Qualifications: PhD, MSc

Bio: PhD in Clinical Medicine and Public Health, specialized in oncology physical therapy with a focus on exercise interventions during cancer treatment, including app-based prescription and monitoring. Graduated in 2015 from the University of Jaén (Spain) with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. In 2016, obtained a university-specific master’s degree in Advanced Manual Therapy (University of Jaén), and in 2017 completed an official MSc in Basic and Applied Neurosciences and Pain (University of Granada). In 2018, she was awarded a competitive FPU fellowship, through which she began her university teaching and research career. Since 2022, she has been a lecturer at the University of Granada – Melilla Campus. Her research focus on supportive cancer care and the role of physical exercise in oncology. Member of the PAIDI Bio277 Research Group and the A02-CUIDATE team at ibs.GRANADA, working on supportive care in oncology and sports medicine. Also, part of the Cancer Patient Support Unit “Cuídate” (IMUDS) and the Unit of Excellence of the Melilla Campus (UECUMEL), contributing to the lines of oncology and lifestyle research. Board member of the Spanish Association of Physiotherapists in Oncology (ONCOAEF), the oncology division of the Spanish Association of Physiotherapists. Collaborated as an expert in the development of the Andalusian Oncology Physiotherapy Plan (PAFO).
